Know What You Want and Go After It Relentlessly

Today’s message is all about knowing what you want to do in this life and going after it relentlessly.

It’s easy to get swept up in what everyone else is doing. It’s even easier to fall into the trap of chasing someone else’s dream, thinking it’s what you’re supposed to want. But if you don’t know your own purpose and your “why,” you can end up living a life that doesn’t even feel like yours.

Get Clear On What You Want

The first step to living a life you love is getting clear on what you want. Not what your friends want. Not what your family expects. Not what society says you should do. But what YOU want.

Ask yourself:

  • What excites me?

  • What would I do even if no one else understood?

  • What problem do I want to solve?

  • What legacy do I want to leave behind?

Write it down. Be honest. This is your life, your vision, your calling.

Know Your Why

Once you know what you want, you need to know WHY you want it. Your “why” is your anchor. It keeps you grounded when things get hard and reminds you why you started in the first place.

Without a strong why, it’s easy to quit when adversity hits. With a strong why, you’ll push through the tough days because you know what’s on the other side.

Avoid the Identity Trap

If you don’t get clear on your purpose, you risk falling into the cycle of living someone else’s dream. That’s how people end up in identity crises—feeling lost, unfulfilled, and out of place.

Don’t let that be you. Get with yourself. Spend quiet time reflecting. Journal. Pray. Meditate. Do whatever you need to do to connect with your true self and your true calling.

Relentlessly Pursue Your Purpose

Once you know what you want and why you want it, it’s time to go after it—relentlessly.

  • Show up for yourself every day.

  • Take action, even when you’re scared.

  • Be okay with making mistakes and learning as you go.

  • Don’t give yourself passes on things you need to change.

  • Be real and transparent with yourself about what’s working and what’s not.

Growth requires honesty. Sometimes it means getting outside help, finding a mentor, or joining a community that will push you to grow.

Excuses or Results

Marina Worre said, “At the end of the day you’ve either got excuses or results.”

Don’t make excuses for not doing what you know needs to be done. If you want to look back one day and be proud, start today. Do the work. Make the changes. Push past fear and doubt.

Keep Pushing—It’s Worth It

I know it won’t always be easy. Some days you’ll want to quit. Some days you’ll wonder if it’s even worth it. But if you keep pushing, you’ll be able to look back and see that whatever adversity you faced was small compared to how much you’ve grown.

Every obstacle is preparing you for your next level. Every challenge is building your strength and your story.

A Challenge for You

This week, do this:

  1. Write down exactly what you want to do with your life.

  2. Write down why you want to do it.

  3. List one thing you need to change to move closer to your goal.

  4. Take one action step toward that change—no excuses.

Remember: results come from action, not intentions.

Final Thoughts: Go After It Relentlessly

At the end of the day, your life is yours to live. Don’t let fear, comparison, or excuses stop you from chasing your purpose. Be honest with yourself, work on what you need to, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Get out there and make it happen… you’ve got this 💪🏽
