Stop falling back

Why is that when we are down on our luck, in a bind, or just in a really bad spot or something of the sort, we'll do whatever we have to do to get up from there and once we're up and things are running smoothly we'll start falling back into some of the same habits that contributed to us getting into the position we just got ourselves out of??
I'm talking about we'll fast, pray, transform our minds and various areas of our lives and then slowly start back falling.
Maybe I am just the only one *shrugs* .....
But you should know that the falling back doesn't just happen suddenly. It's something that happens gradually. It'll start with maybe going somewhere, having a conversation, or doing something that's not aligned with where you are right now and if you're not careful that one moment will turn into another, and another, end up leading to "whatever" kind of choices and before you know it you'll be walking back with your bags and the things you can carry to the place you once were.
Stop it!!
Stop falling back!!
Stop falling back into the same trap that you inadvertently create for yourself.
If you know you shouldn't be dealing with that person, doing that thing or going that place why are you subjecting yourself to that?
Do you think your future is worth jeopardizing? If so, go ahead and do your thing. But if you are like me, then you know that your present and your future is not worth jeopardizing for the place that you fought to get out of and put in work to get away from.
Yes, all things in life are meant to teach us lessons. But the thing about a lesson is that you'll continue repeating it until you learn from it.
So, how many times do you have to learn this lesson?
I choose this time to be the last time that I learn this lesson because I refuse to fall back.
You have to get to a place where you refuse to fall back and continue pushing yourself towards excellence, growth, prosperity and greatness.
Choose to take a stand and stop falling back.
Cut ties that need to be cut.
Refrain from what needs to be refrained from and stop falling back!
I don't know about you but I would rather continue striving forward than taking time to fall back into the same cycles.
